Sunflower-Humphreys Counties Progress. Inc. Transportation Program has been providing non­ emergency medical transportation funded by Medicaid since July 2014. We receive trips through contracts with MTM and Modivcare and other private/self-paying clients.

We operate seven (7) days a week. Monday­ Sunday. Through the MDOT 5311 Grant, we provide transportation to the general public to jobs, school, medical appointments, dialysis treatments, physical therapy, outpatient drop off and pickup, adult daycare facilities, pharmacies, mental health facilities, shopping, churches, and social activities.

My name Demetrie Jimison and I am the Transportation Operational Supervisor at Sunflower Humphreys Counties Progress. I’ve been working at SHCPI for 25 years and been in the role of Transportation Operational Supervisor for a year. I’m passionate about leading and supporting my team of drivers to provide the best possible service to our clients.  Most of all I’m dedicated to fostering positive and collaborative work environment where feels valued and empowered to succeed. Transportation does matter and we are a team. I look forward to contributing continue success to this agency.

Sunflower Humphreys Counties Progress, Inc.- Transportation Program has been providing non-emergency medical transportation since July 2014. We receive 95% of our trips through contracts with MTM Transportation and Modivcare and the other 5% from self-paying clients. Most of these appointments are to doctor facilities.

We also provide transportation to the general public to work, school, medical appointments, church, shopping, and adult daycare facilities through our MDOT 5311 grant.
